Just finished sewing soles onto my new Christmas slippers. So easy to do with the holes already made and using the thread and needle supplied. These will make them last so much longer and warmer on the floor. Really pleased with the product, my second pair.
Found this company at The Wool Show in Birmingham a couple of weeks before Christmas and bought a few bits from them. One thing that stood out and impressed me was that they encourage you to take photos of their displays so you can create something at home. Not many craft stalls let you do that. So I ordered a box of goodies, really good quality felt shapes that I plan to embellish and make into bunting. The pieces already have holes in them for yarn or threads. Looking forward to starting on these and yes I've got Christmas trees and gingerbread men to get a head start on next Christmas.
I bought these almost two years ago without realising the cuff was knitted. As I don’t knit, they remained unmade until I recently came across a crochet slipper book that had a crochet cuff pattern which I used for inspiration to finally make these.
I came across an issue with the pattern for the slippers which I emailed about. Amanda replied on the same day (New Year’s Eve!!) with the correct pattern and apologies for the mistake. I had an old version which has since been updated.
These made up super quickly across three afternoons and I’m really pleased with them. I also can’t fault the service from Amanda. I would definitely recommend.
Bought a pair in spruce green to attach to some knitted slippers. They arrives quickly and looked exactly as in the photos. Easy to attach and beautiful quality suede. Although the few days since finishing the slippers is not a long time, they have been worn non-stop and the soles show no signs of wear.
