Joe's Toes natural crepe rubber soles are pre-punched just like the felt and leather soles for easy attachment to any slipper or sandal project. This traditional soling material is slip resistant, very flexible and hardwearing. We cut these soles from rubber sheets that have been made in the same factory since the 1950s and we just love the colours! The small rubber factory use only non toxic colourants and the rubber is fully biodegradeable (not too quickly so the soles will have a long and useful life).
Crepe rubber has a natural tendency to stick to itself, especially when warm, so we supply the soles with a non-stick paper. Store your project and finished goods without the soles touching. These soles are 2mm (approx 1/16") thick.
PLEASE NOTE the yellow soles are now longer available.
If you're making a pair of our felt slippers you can easily add these to a kit - we always ensure the holes are punched in the same place to it's easy to add an extra soles at any time.
All slipper parts are in pairs. If you actually want mismatched sizes or colours it's not a problem just drop us a line or call us!
Also available as a ready to cut rectangle for your other projects.
Extended returns window for Christmas - any order place between 28th October and 23rd December can be returned up to the 8th February with the usual criteria outlined below.
